We are proud as punch that A Gent's Remit has won the Best Social Enterprise category at the recent 2023 Beard Awards. So thankful for those who nominated us. While we don't do this to receive accolades, it is nice to be acknowledged in this way, and hopefully builds greater awareness of our brand. A Gent's Remit believes that business can do good, that buying products that help care for you can also mean helping others in need. We aim to grow the business, and grow the impact we can have alongside our customers!
We strive to produce the best possible male care products and empower the gents using these to care for those around them. Giving $1 of each product sold to providing clean drinking water to the most vulnerable children in our world and helping to reduce the incidence of suicide in New Zealand is the tangible action of our beliefs and values. While we didn't take out the Best Beard Oil category, we appreciated the opportunity to have our Lovely Jubbly beard oil in the mix. The judges liked the gentlemen concept, English styling and classic beard oil look, and could see it on the shelves of barbershops.
Some great brands from New Zealand and Australia entered the awards this year. We aim to be back in the mix next year, hopefully with more products entered!
